Preparing Passionate Leaders

Each day we have an opportunity to directly impact the life and character of each individual student here at NorthPointe Christian High School. This generation of young people will soon be leaders of the Church and their own local communities. It’s always exciting to see a student mature, to see a heart given to God, or to watch a student accomplish more than they ever have before.

Shadow a High School Student

Principal’s Corner Tom Molenkamp

“There are two things that last forever: the Word of God, and people. I love NPC because of its commitment to the timeless truth of Scripture and because this community of people—from the teachers and staff to the students and families—has done so much to strengthen and encourage me through the years. What a blessing it is to be part of the NorthPointe family!”

Academically Equipped

A combination of rigorous academics with a Student Support Services team allows students of all levels to succeed. Dual college enrollment opportunities and honors course options begin sophomore year, with typically 50% of seniors enrolled in a college course. A continuing Spanish Immersion track allows Spanish Immersion students to build Spanish fluency and work towards a Spanish college minor. Elective options allow students to flourish in the arts or try their hand at Robotics. Our team of counselors works with students to build a high school experience that best fits their individual needs and goals.

Supportive Community

At NorthPointe Christian, your student is more than a number. They are known and loved for who God created them to be. We work hard to create a unified student community that supports one another. Partnership with parents is key to our success as a school, including open parent/teacher communication and parent volunteer opportunities. Teachers are accessible for academic needs and care about students’ growth beyond the classroom.

Enriching Activities

A variety of electives, clubs, and extracurricular activities enrich students’ high school experience. Opportunities for involvement abound. With an average yearly size of 325 high school students, students have ample opportunities to try out for a play, join a sport, or participate in a class trip. Our annual week-long January Term allows students to take a mission trip, serve locally, or sign up for two unique classes. Traditional experiences like homecoming, Spirit week, and powder puff create school unity.

Grounded in Faith

Faith is incorporated into everything we do at NorthPointe Christian. Teachers weave Biblical principles into all classes and students attend daily Bible classes. Chapel is structured for student engagement as well as providing students opportunities to rise up as leaders among their peers. Weekly discipleship groups allow students to dig deeper together. High school culminates with a senior project, where students, alongside a mentor, present their academic and faith journey to family and peers.
