How Extracurricular Programs Stand Out
at NorthPointe Christian Schools

At NorthPointe Christian Schools, extracurricular activities are more than just hobbies—they’re opportunities for students to develop their God-given talents, deepen their faith, and foster meaningful relationships. Our programs reflect our commitment to nurturing the whole child, and this year’s success stories highlight what sets us apart.

Robotics: Technology with a Purpose

One of our elementary robotics teams, the Cyber Colts, recently showcased their skills and teamwork by earning 2nd place for the 2nd highest score during the Robot Match Games! Beyond the achievement, their coach Hilary shared how the team grew both in skill and spirit.

“It was a blessing to serve them,” Hilary shared. “At the end of the season, I asked the team what brought them joy. Their answers ranged from meeting new friends to getting more screen time! When I asked if any Bible verses came to mind, three 5th graders from Mr. DePaz’s class mentioned 1 Corinthians. They saw their team as the body of Christ—each person and robot part working together to succeed.”

This reflection beautifully illustrates how technology and faith intersect at NorthPointe. By building robots, these students also built a deeper understanding of teamwork and the Gospel, recognizing that every contribution matters, just as it does in the church.

A Community Built on Faith and Excellence

Stories like the Cyber Colts’ success show how our extracurricular programs foster not just skill development, but spiritual growth. From robotics to athletics, choir, and drama, our students learn how to use their unique abilities to glorify God. Our dedicated coaches and mentors, like Hilary, guide them to connect their passions to their faith in practical, life-changing ways.

At NorthPointe Christian Schools, we’re honored to walk alongside our students as they discover who God created them to be. Through extracurricular programs, we give them the tools, encouragement, and community to shine for Christ—in school, in competitions, and beyond.
