Rebecca Geysbeek

Kindergarten English Teacher
Year Start At NPC: 2025

I love working at NPC because it feels like coming home. I attended NPC from kindergarten through grade twelve. So much of my spiritual foundation was shaped by this community. I am grateful to be back, and feel privileged to help disciple the next generation of world impactors.

Bio

Mrs. Geysbeek’s Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education is from Western Governors University. After teaching for seven years at a local charter school, God called her back to the NorthPointe community, where she attended from kindergarten through 12th grade. The additional experience of homeschooling her children gives Mrs. Geysbeek broad exposure to a variety of learning environments.  She enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her husband, four children, and extended church family.

Statement of Faith

Psalm 127:3 calls children a “heritage from the Lord”. To truly love the heritage God has given us is to pass on the most precious gift one can possess, Jesus Christ. Through explicit teaching on who Christ is and modeling how he loved us, we can point even the smallest learners toward him.

We must “train them up in the way they should go” (Proverbs 22:6). Scripture memorization and study of God’s character provide an anchor. Having God’s word in mind strengthens our faith and helps us resist temptation. Through the enabling of the Holy Spirit, we have comfort, guidance, and direction. As a Christian school, we can help students build a solid foundation on the rock, Jesus Christ.

According to Genesis 1:27, every child has inherent value because they are made in the image of God. Regardless of ability or circumstance, they possess an intrinsic worth. Recognizing this divine blueprint enables us to nurture their spiritual and academic growth.
