Bio
Mr. Farnsworth graduated from NorthPointe in 2018 and found his way back in 2023. This is his first official teaching job and looks forward to growing as apart of the NorthPointe family; this time as staff. Outside of teaching you can find him coaching/playing soccer, bowling, or hanging with his cats.
Faith Statement
As a graduate myself, I can safely say that the staff here at NPC live out our motto: “to equip students to impact their world for Jesus Christ.” NorthPointe Christian is a special place that allows me to incorporate my beliefs into my teaching every day. People here support me and help me grow in my faith and teaching. In my current role here, I hope to show students Jesus, much like the staff at NorthPointe did for me.
As a member of the ESS team, I see how God has uniquely created each student at NorthPointe. I want to see how every student is different, each with his/her own gifts and talents to show the image of God and His perfect design. I know He put them all in my life for a reason and that He has a plan for them that goes far beyond the classroom. It is my goal to help students discover that plan for their lives. I do this by living out God’s mandates each day. The three mandates I want to touch on are love, mission, and image.
The Love Mandate: “Love the Lord your God… Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matt. 22:37-38. By loving and caring for my students, I hope that through my words and actions all my students will see a glimpse of God’s love He has for them.
The Mission Mandate: “Go and make disciples… teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matt. 28:18-20). God is calling us to spread the gospel and obey His commands. I will bring Jesus into my teaching, conservations, and interactions with others, in the hope that people will see Jesus through me.
The Image Mandate: “Let us make man in our image… Be fruitful.. Fill the earth.. Subdue it… rule over every living creature…” (Gen. 1:26,28. Every life is valued and precious. It is my job as a Christian educator to help students understand that God uniquely created them and has a purpose for their lives.
