I love working with students and seeing the Holy Spirit work within them. To be able to engage not only academically but also spiritually brings an eternal purpose to the work they are doing at NPC. I strive to build meaningful relationships with students so I can remind them of God’s love for them and purpose that He has for their lives! And in return, I always learn something new about the Lord too!

Mrs. Scheffler graduated from Hope College and then moved to Texas where she was a classroom teacher for 7 years. After a break from teaching to stay home with her two boys she returned and worked as an interventionist and para-educator in the resource room. She is thrilled to be at NPC this year in the Student Union! A fun fact about Mrs. Scheffler is that she grew up on a tropical island called Guam! She loves to travel, kayak, and cheer her boys on in whatever sport or activity they are into at the moment.
