Holly Scheffler
High School Support Services Teacher
I love working with students and seeing the Holy Spirit work within them. To be able to engage not only academically but also spiritually brings an eternal purpose to the work they are doing at NPC. I strive to build meaningful relationships with students so I can remind them of God’s love for them and purpose that He has for their lives! And in return, I always learn something new about the Lord too!

Bio
Mrs. Scheffler received her undergraduate degree from Hope College and her Master’s of Education from Spring Arbor University. She has been in education for over 15 years including time as a classroom teacher, paraeducator and interventionist. She is thrilled to be at NPC as the High School Educational Support Services Coordinator. A fun fact about Mrs. Scheffler is that she grew up on a tropical island called Guam! She loves to travel, camp, and cheer her boys on in whatever sport they are into at the moment.
Statement of Faith
“Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds. Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.” Psalm 71:17-18
I am a daughter of the one true King. I believe that God is my creator, Jesus is my savior and the Holy Spirit guides me as I strive to live out God’s plan for my life.
It is my privilege to be part of the High School Educational Support Services team as we, with God’s guidance, work to “equip students to impact their world for Jesus Christ.”
Specifically with the Image Mandate (Genesis 1:26,28) in mind we know that each student is made as an image bearer of God. He created each one of us for a purpose. We are all part of the body of Christ – we are valued members! While helping students find successes in school, I also want to help them understand the overwhelming love God has for them and see how God is using them for an eternal purpose. We work intentionally to create a community that values each member and celebrates the God given talents bestowed upon us. We celebrate the uniqueness of the body of Christ and gather in Christian community to grow in faith – preparing to take the Good News to the world.
