Becca Wright

3rd Grade Teacher
Year Start At NPC: 2022

I love working at NPC because it is an awesome community of people chasing after Jesus! I enjoy helping students find out where they fit in the classroom, teaching them about grace, and showing them how everyone’s unique characteristics are essential in the body of Christ.

Faith Statement

God is the rock on which I stand! It is a blessing to work at NPC that is Christ centered, seeing students grow in skill and in their relationship with Christ.  I want my students to rely on Him instead of the things of this world. I get excited to teach children how great God is and help to equip them “to impact their world for Jesus Christ. I love NPC!

I come from a Christian home and had great mentors to walk beside me as I experienced some hardships. I accepted Jesus in my heart when I was eight while sitting in my mom’s van. After high school, I attended a Christian college where my faith took off, helping me connect the Bible to everything in life. In college, I met my husband who led me to a deeper relationship with God. I learned I needed show Christ instead of just telling people about Him. It is because of this my favorite bible verse is Mathew 25: 31-46. God has directed our family to participate fully at Frontline Church

The Love Mandate: “Love the Lord your God…. Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matt. 22:37-38). I will daily seek to teach my students to love each other as God loves us. It can be hard to live this way in a fallen world. With God’s help and guidance, we can live out loving others the way God loves us! Again, I will show Christ’s love to my students consistently. As a class, we will practice showing love to others by celebrate with them and when we help them in difficult situations.

The Mission Mandate: “Go and make disciples…teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matt. 28:18-20). This is my favorite mandate at NPC! Not only do we learn how to tell people about Jesus and give our testimony, but we also get to learn how to live like Jesus. I go back to Mathew 25: 40 were God says, “Whatever you have done for the least of the brothers of mine, you’ve done for me.” Serving others brings us them closer to Christ. I will model how to be a servant by loving, praying, encouraging, forgiving, and being patient with everyone. We will practice showing the fruit of the spirit in all situations. Teaching the students, the words of Jesus allow them to see how great our God is through serving others.

The Image Mandate: “Let us make man in our image…. Be fruitful…fill the earth…subdue it…rule over every living creature….” (Gen. 1:26, 28). God has created everything. He has made us in His own image. The painted skies, the wonderful smells, the soft materials–all came from God! Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the works of his hands.” I believe this to be true. I will teach my students that God makes no mistakes. He makes each person unique, perfect for the mission He has set before each of us. We will try to see others through the lenses of Jesus.

Finally, I want to live out the mission Christ has laid before me as a teacher. I strive to be a servant leader and take exceptional care of others. The Lord is my strength and my refuge. I have every reason to be joyful!
