I love pointing out, sharing and soaking in God’s incredible design in His creation with students outside and inside the classroom. Sometimes it’s pointing out the sunrise in the morning carline, a spiderweb that formed overnight on the playground or in the classroom the metamorphosis of the caterpillar to a butterfly.

Bio
Ms. Volkers studied education at Calvin College and started working as an aide for the NPC preschool team last year. One of her favorite things about preschool is watching the kids learn social skills and form friendships. She has 4 kids that attend NPC: 2 sons at the high school, a daughter at the middle school and a son at the elementary. Outside of school, she enjoys getting outside for walks in the woods to soak in God’s design work, relaxing or boating by/on water, picking produce at local farms and watching her kids play sports (tennis, baseball, soccer and volleyball).
