Caring for your Kids After-School
Colt Care Registration for the 2026-2027 school year will open the morning of Monday, August 3rd.
All enrolled NPC families will receive a text, email and Brightwheel app notification when the link becomes available.
The before and after care program (Colt Care) at NorthPointe Christian Elementary and Preschool serves as a vital resource for families with busy schedules. Operating Monday through Friday from 7:00 to 7:50am and from 3:00 to 5:30pm, this program provides supervised care in a secure environment both before and after the regular school day, as well as during most school breaks.
During the afternoon Colt Care session, students kick off with a nutritious snack before heading outdoors for recess – weather permitting – and engaging in a variety of indoor activities. Participating in art projects, board games & puzzles, various building blocks, and more, there’s never a dull moment.
Moreover, parents can rest assured knowing that Colt Care is fully licensed by the State of Michigan, adhering to all regulations outlined by the Child Care Licensing Bureau for Licensed Child Care Centers. The dedicated staff members undergo thorough background checks, are certified in CPR and First Aid, and continually enhance their skills through ongoing education classes provided by the Michigan Registry.
Colt Care goes above and beyond to make the experience memorable and enriching for the students. With exciting events such as visits from the Alligator Sanctuary, the Teddy Bear Mobile, and appearances by beloved characters like Cinderella and Spiderman, there’s always something to look forward to. Additionally, an annual highlight is the thrilling field trip to Cannonsburg for snow tubing, adding an extra layer of fun and adventure to the program.

Please be aware the office has the following available for parent review during regular business hours: a licensing notebook of all licensing inspection reports, special investigations reports, and all related corrective action plans. Additionally, licensing inspections and special investigation reports from the past two years are available on the Bureau of Children and Adult Licensing website.
