Where do I apply for Tuition Assistance?

How long does it take to find out about my financial assistance?

It typically takes 2-3 weeks to find out about your Tuition Assistance qualification. Please make sure to complete your application and submission forms in their entirety to speed up the process.

Who qualifies for assistance?

Full-time K – 12th grade or Home & School Hybrid students who meet specific criteria of income and financial need.

What is T.R.I.P. ?

The Tuition Reduction Incentive Program (T.R.I.P.) is an easy way to reduce your tuition costs. Families who use T.R.I.P. can potentially save hundreds of dollars on their tuition bill. You simply enroll in T.R.I.P., order gift certificates from many local and national restaurants and businesses at face value, and receive a percentage of the purchase as a credit toward your T.R.I.P. account. Your T.R.I.P. credit is applied to your account twice a year. Instant T.R.I.P. is available in the elementary and high school offices, and orders can be made online.

What percentages do I earn back with T.R.I.P. ?

The percentages vary from 2% to 20%, depending on the business. Click here to see all available gift cards and offerings.

How do I enroll in T.R.I.P. ?

Send your name and email address to trip@npchristian.org to receive an evite. Or download the T.R.I.P. enrollment form and drop it off at any office.

What Instant T.R.I.P. gift cards are available?

The Administrative Office and Elementary Office houses a variety of T.R.I.P. gift cards. See attached list of cards we typically have available.

Do NorthPointe students qualify for the Grand Rapids Promise discount?

Yes, NorthPointe Christian is included in the Grand Rapids Promise Zone. Students who live and attend High School within the appropriate zone are eligible for a Promise Scholarship at Grand Rapids Community College. Students can earn up to 60 credit hours, covering the cost of tuition, fees, books, and required course materials. Students must still apply for Federal Financial Student Aid by filling out the FAFSA form.
