A Charge to NPC Fathers

Dads of the world, rejoice! It’s your day. Most of us fathers, though, cringe a little at our mistakes in raising our kids: losing our cool in disciplining them, too busy to pay attention to them, etc.
Almost all the fathers in the Bible stumbled too: Abraham, Moses, David; yet God used them to build His Kingdom. Sometimes God’s direction for dads is direct: “Impress these commandments on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home…walk along the road…lie down…and get up” (Deut. 6:4).
Sometimes God names a “don’t” and a “do” in the same sentence: “Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4).
