Bio

Miss Milo is a proud Ferris State University graduate who finds joy in the outdoors, fishing, the ocean, and scrapbooking! She is one of five sisters and is excited to be getting married in June 2026. She is passionate about watching kids chase their dreams and strives to make a lasting impact on the world and spread the word of God in all she does.

Statement of Faith

John 15:4 reads, “Abide in me and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, neither can you unless you remain in me…The one who abides in me and I in him produces much fruit…” Teaching at NorthPointe means I not only get the privilege of helping students persevere through difficult tasks, but also come alongside children of Christ in all that they do.

The Love Mandate (Matthew 22:37-38) for me is modeling a love for God, myself, and students! How do our actions mirror the love of God? God’s word tells us, “Whatever your hands find to do, do with all your strength”. In the classroom, we should ensure we speak to our neighbors with love, serve one another, and handle conflict with grace and forgiveness.

The Mission Mandate (Matthew 28:18-20). God calls us to reach out to everyone and anyone to spread his word and love. At NorthPointe, my goal is to seek out opportunities to be mission-minded. I will lead us to set goals, and push one another in the pursuit of Christ, building habits of applying scripture, biblical and conversational reflection, and remaining empowered in our knowledge of the one true God.

The Imagine Mandate (Gen. 1:26,28). Imagine a world where all praise the name of Jesus! My goal is for all students to know that they can be the light in any darkness they encounter. Each one is handpicked by God to carry out his will.
