Our Legacy
NorthPointe’s faculty, staff and families are united in the desire to educate the whole child -mind, body and soul. Since our founding in 1972, we’ve:
- Encouraged our students to build their faith in Christ and desire to serve others.
- Committed educational excellence, encouraging our students to reach their full potential.
- Hired teachers who have a strong faith and who see and know each student and are committed to their individual success.
- Developed innovative programs such as Home Hybrid, International Students, Spanish Immersion, Colt Care, Big Picture Learning, Marketplace and College Dual Enrollment.
- Offered many athletic, fine arts and extracurricular programs that reinforce Biblical values.
We’re guided by a belief that all children are made in God’s image and worthy of respect. We nurture our students in the love of God by emphasizing the stories and principles of scripture and promoting a community of love, acceptance and care throughout the school.
Our Challenge
We’re growing, but our culture remains the same.
The demand for a NorthPointe Christian education has greatly increased. We now reach 5 counties even while 16 private Christian schools are within 15 miles of us. The Lord is leading families to us, and we prayerfully rely on His direction for the decisions we make.
Adapting and Improving for the Future.
We recognize the need for:
- A larger school facility to meet the needs of a growing student body.
- Further investment in teacher compensation.
- Attention to critical renovations and upgrades to existing facilities.
- A focus on better serving our current students and families.
Solutions
The $15 million Forward in Faith campaign will…
- Develop an Upper Elementary Building
Our elementary campus has reached full capacity. Given our growing enrollment, relocating our upper elementary grades to a new facility will allow us to maximize the potential of our campuses. - Improve Teacher Compensation
We have talented teachers who are passionate about Christ and devoted to serving our students. Providing compensation that is more competitive in the marketplace will enable us to attract and retain top notch teachers. - Renovate School Spaces
Our buildings are showing their age, making it necessary to update and renovate interior and exterior spaces across our campuses.
