Faith Statement
God has given me the great honor and privilege to serve Him by building up the next generation both spiritually and academically at NorthPointe Christian.
I strongly believe we need to love one another in order to be successful in the classroom and grow in our faith walk. I teach my students how to love each other well by being good listeners, showing concern and care, and praying for the needs of others. We start our year with the verse “A friend loves at all times” (Proverbs 17:17). Then, we discuss how to be a friend who loves like Jesus. I am continually inspired by the purity and intention of their hearts through this study.
Generosity means to give, to share, and to show you care. We look for ways to be generous in our classroom daily and take time during Bible to highlight moments we have “caught” a classmate being generous. I love giving students opportunities to give each other shout-outs for living out the commandments of the Lord. We are building our classroom environment while also learning to become more like Jesus.
The Lord is our Rock and always guides us. We are made in the image of God. I pray that each student who enters my classroom knows and believes these truths. I want them to stand firm in their faith and live their lives for the good of Jesus Christ. I am blessed to be the hands and feet of Jesus for this community.
