iMac Computer Lab

Computer classes with our classroom teachers are scheduled for Young 5's - 5th grade multiple times weekly. These classes cover typing skills, word processing, safe internet usage, and other important foundational computing skills. Classroom teachers have the opportunity to use the computer lab for class projects, papers and activities when computer classes aren't in session. For example, the 5th graders utilize the multi-media options available on the iMacs to write, direct, and produce videos of common-day parable lessons taught in scripture. They then get to showcase their finished works in a special class-led chapel to share these "creative lessons" with the rest of the student body.

Preschool & Kindergarten classes visit the computer lab with their classroom teacher, and get to learn colors, letters, and early math and reading skills through play while beginning to learn the basic navigation using a few keyboard keys and a mouse.

Students learn the Macintosh operating system at our Elementary campus and learn PC's at the Middle & High School campus.

Classroom Computers

Each elementary teacher has 2-4 Mac computers in their classrooms to incorporate into their curriculum.

Other Classroom Technology

Executing quality and relevant curriculum to today's students requires additional technology to best prepare them for the world they will work in as adults. Teachers are equipped with laptops, big-screen projectors, and Elmo machines to enhance their students' learning experience.
