Our Resource Room

NPC Elementary employs a full-time Resource Aid serving students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Students with Individual Educational Plans (IEP) typically use the resource room as a place to receive one-on-one instruction. The room offers a quiet learning environment, additional hands-on-learning opportunities, wiggle seats, "reading phones," and other great learning tools to help children who struggle to learn in a typical classroom space. Focus areas often include (but are not limited to) math, reading, memorization, and study skills. Our staff partners with parents, students, and classroom teachers to tailor a plan for each child's success.

NPCS has been blessed to partner with both The Christian Learning Center & specialists from Grand Rapids Public Schools to offer a much broader range of services to our students.
