CURRENT MONTH APRIL
MAY LUNCH MENU
What is served?
Our lunches include an a la carte buffet of choices including a salad bar, sandwiches, wraps, one hot entree, fruit, milk, juice, a starch side (potatoes or chips), and a dessert.
How does it work?
Parents or students can drop off money in the main High School office to deposit into their individual lunch account. We rely on parents to communicate a budget with their children, and offer the ability to put restrictions on any menu items offered via requests to the office. As students make their way through the buffet line, they use their student ID number to purchase the items they've chosen for lunch. Students will not be allowed to get lunch if their account is lacking sufficient funds.
Who makes and serves lunch?
Our lunch coordinator, kitchen staff, and parent volunteers help this program run smoothly each day of the school week.
Where do students eat lunch?
The R.W. Berends Student Center serves as the school lunch room with tables and chairs for student dining.
How do we deal with food allergies?
Our lunch coordinator is always available via email to answer questions about meal ingredients or food preparation. If your child has a particular allergy, we rely on them to make wise dietary choices. Items containing nuts are always labeled to help students identify potential allergy foods.
