James 1:22 which says; “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”

It’s not easy for young people to stand their ground and live a selfless life for Christ in today’s society, but we believe they CAN do it when they are standing upon God’s foundation and are grounded in faith.  We believe adolescents can make a genuine and meaningful decision to accept Christ.

Chapel is a highlight for our Middle School Students.  Chapels are held twice per week where students have the opportunity to discover who Christ is in a personal way. We believe our students should have an active role in our chapels so we are intentional with coming alongside them to help develop their leadership skills.

Students hear from teachers, outside speakers as well as their  peers.  Middle School students have the opportunity to be a part of our praise band, share scripture, speak in chapel and 8th graders lead prayer partners for the 6th and 7th graders.

Every other week we have Small Groups.  Small Group is a time where our students meet with a staff member, parent or high school senior.  Small Group time is spent fostering positive relationships as well as provides time for students to talk through friendship struggles, every day stresses as well as have a time of Bible Study together.

Whether it is through chapel speakers, small group time, class devotions, community service opportunities, our guidance office, scripture memory, spiritual emphasis week or other student led ministries, students are confronted with a Christian Worldview.  Chapel is structured  for student engagement as well as providing students a variety of opportunities to rise up as leaders among their peer groups.
