We are 8th graders at NPC. And here’s a little more about us:

What do you like to do when you’re not in class?
Emily: I like to play the piano, color, and play video games. In the hallways I like to talk and joke with my friends.
Isaac: I like to play soccer, working on different projects and I enjoy playing with my brother.
What sports do you play?
Emily: I play a little tennis and I play baseball in the backyard with my brother.
Isaac: I play soccer and golf.
How many siblings do you have?
Emily: I have three siblings. An older sister and a younger brother and sister.
Isaac: I have four siblings. Two older sisters then a younger brother and sister.
How long have you been going to NorthPointe?
Emily: In third grade and fourth grade I did the home school program. In fifth grade I came full time.
Isaac: I’ve been coming since preschool. About 10 years.
What is your favorite Bible verse? Favorite quote?
Emily: My favorite Bible verse is John 3:16 ”For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” My favorite quote is “Courage is not the absence of fear but the willingness to go on despite of it.” -Unknown
Isaac: My favorite quote is “Do or do not. There is no try.” -Yoda. My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:8 “Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think of such things.”
Do you play an instrument?
Emily: Yes, I play string bass and piano.
Isaac: Yes, I play the french horn.
Do you have any pets?
Emily: My older sister has a pet fish named Avery Japan. I used to have a hermit crab named Nichole.
Isaac: I have a pet dog named Domino.
What’s your favorite vacation? Have you ever been on a mission trip?
Emily: My favorite vacation would either be Spring Break to Florida in 2011 or the trip to Hawaii in 2008. I wen ton a mission trip in summer of 2011 to Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Isaac: My favorite vacation would be when I went to Florida and Busch Gardens. I have been on 3 mission trips. Two were to Mexico each time for a week. The most recent one was a trip to Togo, West Africa for a month.

Hi there! My name is Lydia and I want to take a minute to introduce myself to all of you. I have lived in Grand Rapids my entire life. I came to NorthPointe Christian in 4th grade, and before then I went to Creston Christian. The things I love about NorthPointe is all the teachers truly love and care about every student. They make me feel like I am an important part of the school and always encourage me to reach my goals. I am so thankful for NorthPointe Christian.

Here is a couple more things about me:

I am in 8th grade. My favorite color is pink I love animals especially my 3 turtles and my dog, Snikers. I have many favorite subjects, but if I had to choose it would probably be English. My favorite class is Orchestra or PE. In my free time I love to hangout with my friends, play piano, go on the computer, or play with my turtles. I have been playing piano for 8 years and playing my violin for 4 years. My favorite store is Charolette Russe or American Eagle.
