Mol Media Center Resources

npchristian.follettdestiny.com Click on blue NorthPointe Christian Schools and search for fiction, non-fiction, and biography using our online resource catalog. You may search by Keyword, Title, Author, Subject or Series. 

This catalog is simply to search our collection from home or school. Students may select a book from the shelf and check out with our media center aides.

All of the books listed on the Middle School Leisure Reading are located on the shelves in our Middle School Section of the Media Center. Several books are now available as an e-book (electronic books noted by blue “e” under it). You may read an e-book online in one sitting or download it to most electronic devices and have it available for you to read for one week.

Middle school books and e-books will be listed under “FIC” or a call number and the author’s full name
Example:  FIC ALCOTT or 242 BOLTON.
Exception: Biographies will be listed under 921, and by the last name of the person the book was written about (921 Washington).

All other books are for the high school students.

www.gutenberg.org - Project Gutenberg offers over 36,000 free online books that may be downloaded to you electronic device.

www.infotopic.info - Links to many great sites for Art, Biography, Health, History, Images, Literature, News, Opinion, Quotations, Science, Technology and Social Science.

http://www.worldbookonline.com is a wonderful website that offers you to up-to-date information using one of the best encyclopedias for teachers and students. Look for headlines, articles and primary source guides.

http://www.MeL.org  is a great resource.  You may have to use your KDL Library Card or your driver’s license number to access several of the links, but Mel.org does not keep your ID numbers in their system.  It ‘s simply to show you are a Michigan resident.
