Home & School Partnership 2010-2011 Tuition Details

To enroll in any of our Home & School programs you must submit the following to NorthPointe Christian Schools HSP, 540 Russwood NE, Grand Rapids, MI, 49505

Please submit:

  1. Completed Application Form

  2. Non-refundable Family Enrollment Fee of $25 before May 31, 2010 or $75 if after June 1 and before July 1, 2010 or $125 after July 1,2010.

  3. After July 1, 2010 a tuition payment is required with the application form. You must choose full pay, 1/2 pay or the first of the 10 monthly FACTS payments.  (Because we will make commitments to teachers based on enrollment, this down payment is non-refundable.)

New CAP students must also include:

  1. A letter of recommendation from a teacher outside of your home (last school, church, sports, etc.)

  2. Copy of most recent Immunization records

  3. Official transcript from last school if available

  4. Official results of standardized tests from the previous year if available

 

Payment Options

Option 1: One (1) Payment - Pay entire school year tuition to NPCS before July 1st, 2010
                This option offers a discount to the cost of tuition.

Option 2: Two (2) Equal Payments - Divide entire school year tuition into two payments.
                This option offers a discount to the cost of tuition. 

  • First Payment due before: July 1, 2010
  • Second Payment due before: December 1, 2010

Option 3: Ten (10) equal monthly payments. The first payment is paid directly to NPCS with the enrollment form. The remaining payments are Monthly Bank Account Withdrawals through FACTS beginning on August 5th and ending on April 5th. The FACTS annual enrollment fee is $38.00. A FACTS form must be filled and returned to the NPCS and a check for any payments missed before a student will be enrolled.*

*Option 3 is not available to students registering for Camp Roger only. Therefore students registering for Camp Roger must Choose Option 1 or Option 2.

Refund Policy

By signing and returning the Enrollment Contract, NPCS reserves a place for your child and you pledge to NPCS that you will pay the costs indicated in order that we may meet the budget for that particular program. We employ teachers in accordance with the number of students enrolled and must honor those staff contracts whether or not a student withdraws from NPCS. Therefore, if you find it necessary to withdraw your child, please contact Laurie DeLong as soon as possible.

Family Enrollment Fee: Non-refundable - The $25 or $75 Family Enrollment Fee (or $125 for late registration) is non-refundable in all situations.

Tuition:
First semester tuition refunds:

  • If written notification of dropping is received by Laurie DeLong before the third week of classes starts, 50% of the first semester tuition will be refunded.

  • If dropping after the second week of class, 100% of the first semester tuition is non-refundable.

Second semester tuition refunds:

  • If written notification of dropping is received by Laurie DeLong by January 7, 2011 and if we can fill your student's vacancy with another student no later than January 15, 2010 second semester tuition may be refunded.

  • If dropping after January 7, 2011, no refund will be given for 2nd semester tuition.

*CAP classes
10% sibling discount for 2nd child and 15% sibling discount for 3rd child for families who meet income qualifications. Families who choose not to take this discount enable NPC to give tuition assistance to other families in need. You will be issued a tax-deductible gift receipt for the difference between the two rates. Students enrolled in CAP classes may participate in sports and other after school activities for free.

**Part-Time 5-Day/week
These classes are with our regular full-time students and are not specifically HSP classes.

  • Middle School - Students may enroll in up to 4 classes (including a maximum of 3 core classes) Enrollment in 5 or more classes is considered full time and thus requires full tuition. Part-time students may be bumped out of core classes at the middle school level if a full-time student enrolls and a core class is full. 
    Part-time students are eligible to play any sports or other after school activities (e.g. drama) for a fee of $125.00/semester.

  • High School - Students may enroll in up to 3 classes, (enrollment in 4 or more classes is considered full time and thus requires full tuition).
