NorthPointe Christian is proud to announce the start of our newest tuition assistance program, the Online Auction!  Thanks to the generosity of scott Miedema and those at www.repocast.com, NorthPointe Christian is able to collect items from willing donors and auction them off online through the weekly auction at repocast.com. This auction draws the attention of 400,000 registered bidders! Hundreds of items are sold weekly.  You can participate with these six easy steps:

Six Steps to donating items to be sold on the online auction:

Step 1: Items

We encourage you to keep us in mind when you are ready rid your house, cottage, garage, business, or jobsite of anything, new or used, that still has value (generally $40 or more).

Suggested items:
Electronics
Jewelry
Appliances
Overstock
Tools
Renovation Left-Overs
Furniture
REal Estate
Vehicles
RV's
Lawn Mowers
Machines
Equipment
Step 2: Contact
When you or another have any items you would like to donate, you can contact Nancy Wierenga, the program coordinator in one of two ways.  Email her at onlineauction@npchristian.org or call (616)485-1886.
Step 3: Pick-Up
Once you have let Nancy know you have something to donate, she will schedule a time to stop by with her big red online auction trailer to bring the item to the warehouse where it will be held so it can be posted on the weekly auction.
Step 4: Online Auction
Scott's staff at repocast.com will post your items online on an upcoming online Thursday auction.  Items will be pictured and can be sold individually or in a lot depending on the item.  Registered bidders (you can sign up to be a bidder on www.repocast.com) have the chance to bid on items until 6pm Thursday evening.  If there is a bidding war between two bidders, the auction will stay open until a winning bidder is confirmed.  This allows items to go for their highest possible selling price.

Step 5: Tax Deductible Receipt
Item donors will receive a receipt from the online auction coordinator via email for the final auction purchase price of the item. Donations are ALWAYS tax deductible.

Step 6: Repeat
Donate once, twice, or hundreds of times. This auction program is run all year long to help scholarship students who would not otherwise be able to attend NorthPointe Christian Schools. Please help us promote this new program to families all around the West Michigan area!
